Event Recap: WSAB Mental Health Fair 2024

On August 28, 2024, WSAB hosted our second-ever Mental Health Fair – a showcase of possibilities for self-care. Around 80 people came to Kresge Hall for the event, which was part of Weinberg Staff Appreciation Week. The event began with a moderated talk led by Lesley Lundeen from Central HR’s Wellbeing Office. Following the talk, everyone was free to continue their discussions, enjoy lunch, or interact with the various stations that were offered:

  • Pet Therapy Dogs from Rainbow Animal Assisted Therapy
  • ASMR Listening Stations
  • Crafting / Origami
  • Jigsaw Puzzles
  • Pinata Thwacking

All who attended left in good spirits and with fidget toys in hand. If you have pictures from the event, please share them with us! You can drop photos into this folder on SharePoint.
