Six Questions: Michele McDonough

Margaret Sagan reached out to Michele McDonough, Assistant Chair of the Department of Molecular Biosciences, to ask six questions. Read on to learn more about Michele.

 

How long have you been at the university and what’s your current role?

I’ve been in my current position as  Director of Operations in the Molecular Biosciences Department since 2008.

 

What’s your favorite part of the job?

I really enjoy collaborating with my exceptionally talented colleagues, and I truly appreciate the opportunity to be part of an environment that fosters continuous learning and improvement.


What’s your secret talent?

I have a sixth sense about direction and have an innate ability to find the most efficient way from a starting point to a destination

 

What do you like to do in your free time?

Spend time on outdoor activities such gardening, kayaking or biking up to visit the Botanic Garden

What is your perfect idea of a relaxing day?

Good food is always a priority among my friends and family so it would likely involve food, friends and board games
