Roasted Coffee

Roasting your own coffee beans is an accessible way to introduce you to a wide range of flavors unavailable from commercially produced coffee. Slowing down the production and consumption of one of the world’s most popular beverages offers an opportunity to meditate on labor, history and place.

Josh Ippel (Art Theory and Practice) took up roasting his own coffee during the pandemic and has shared some of the resources he used to get his start:
